Why does yuki kiss tohru

But what I love most about this scene is how happy Yuki gets when she calls him by his first name. It makes me melt. I love them soooo much. Their story is just so touching and it makes me sob every time I read it. I loved how Katsuya married her so that he could take care of her since she was by herself. But he also did it because he truly loved her. It was a good balance. Their first kiss was so flippin beautiful. Then I think I remember Kyoko called him a pedophile afterward.

At least they acknowledge the age gap. My second favorite ship from the series! I may look like a basic white boy, but deep down I am Nihongo desu. Watashi religion is anime. Anata wa bullying me because of my race and religion desu ka? Disgusting desu. Anata should be ashamed of yourself, racist pig. A baka gaijin like anata is probably jealous of my race and culture, cause Nippon is more sugoi than your shitty country desu.

Watashi pity anata. You'll never be Nihongo like watashi. Educate yourself on nani a "weeb" is. Everything was done perfectly, especially the end with Yuki and Tooru. Of course, the Kyou-Tooru moments were sweet too. Happy to see Kureno again. So now that Akito is here shit is going down. Shigure mentioned Ren too but we will learn about that person a lot later.

Hmmm quite the episode. Eagerly awaiting the explanation of how their family works and why everyone basically bows down to him. Probably some supernatural, zodiac related reason to why he is leader, but that still doesn't explain why he's such a cunt. It's nice to see that Yuki is becoming strong enough to not break down after seeing Akito.

Another pregnancy in anime, Japan is really pushing the babymaking, uh? Jokes aside, Tohru looks ok after hitting the watermelon with her hand, that's good.

Every Souma has an episode with Akito, even the children I know, but seeing Kisa's relief after hearing that Tohru won't go and see her was like, damn. Shigure is no angelhe has to be really twisted to can get along with Akito, really want to discover what is that man up to.

At the end, poor Yuki No tomo malas decisiones, me gusta apoyar causas perdidas. Quite an interesting episode! Shigure has arrived and so has Akito with Kureno and Hatori! Didn't take long for things to get stirred already. That ending was pretty emotional between Yuki and Tohru, was quite a powerful scene under that night sky! Insert song was nice and I love how Yuki opened up about how much she means to him, I wonder if he will ever be able to tell her that he was the one that gave her that hat!

Kyo's mom killed herself, Akito being an absolute bitch once again, Shigure being the absolute schemer and yuki's sorta confession at the end. The sunset, the song, the shooting stars Really nice stuff. I am tearing up with the ending of this beautiful episode My two boys - both such lovely moments in this episode!

I was smiling so big with Kyo, then had tears rolling with Yuki. I absolutely loathe Akito. Poor Kureno - he has no life at all. And I am still hoping that Shigure has their best interests at heart, but damn, dude! What a way to completely ruin a beautiful family vacation by encouraging that bitch to come there. Oh, my! Why Akito is always so cruel! Someone, please, stop this guy! I knew what was coming and I thought that I had prepared myself, but boi was I wrong Uta Arii has blown me away yet again with her insert song!

I can't be grateful enough that we got such an amazing adaptation of Fruits Basket almost 20 years since the manga ended. Episode of the year. Man, this episode was handled so masterfully is unreal. Akito's atmosphere is really intense. Tohru's watermelon tale with her mom was heartwarming, but damn, that last bit with the shooting stars and Yuki x Tohru moment was so beautiful I can't even convey how amazing it is. It's up there as one of the most beautiful anime scenes I've seen. Just give them a pair of over sized breasts and a happy ending and they'll oink for more every time.

Casual reminder this series is the feelsbringer; power, all I can say. And Ren was mentioned OH BOY. Okay, Akito arrived. Party's over folks. But seriously, what a piece of shit this guy And also, Kyou's mother killed herself? Well, we have been having a lot of Tohru x Kyou moments these last few episodes so of course, things needed to be more balanced with Yuki and oh boy, what a beautiful moment he and Tohru shared: under the starry sky, seeing shooting stars while being at the shore of the beach.

I mean, it couldn't have been more shoujo than that and it was fantastic. So I guess I can take this sequence as the moment where Yuki finally recognizes he fell in love with Tohru? Overall, amazing episode this week. It was almost perfect in every aspect. You just have to love how well Akito is written. She's written so evil and self-centred but at the same time you can tell it's coming from somewhere important to the character in a way that it isn't all just purely evil spirited. I love this stuff so much.

Akito pisses me off and I'm also scared of what she might do to them. Tohru is breaking apart right now and I don't think she could defend herself against her if she were to attack. There is no such thing as an Anime elitist. You watch Anime, therefore, you are trash by society's standards. Holy crap I thought he was at least going to call her Tohru but no he brought out the bigger guns and hit us hard AF.

I mean Akito more but damn Shigure literally only cares about himself and I guess Akito. What I find most fascinating is the subtle rivalry between Tohru and Akito, unintentional it may be in the former's case and the possible denial in the latter's case. Akito represents despair, hopelessness, and darkness, while Tohru represents hope, yearning, and light.

How Momiji looked forward to ending the meeting with Akito just so he can go back to Tohru followed by a flashback of a smiling, bright Tohru truly solidifies that fact. I think one of the main reasons Akito seems to despise the girl is how her good-natured character is undoing all of her work of causing as much suffering as she can to her Zodiac members. The sadistic laugh she demonstrated certainly shows how mentally unstable she is. Another thing that caught my interest is the tiny info about Hiro's mom.

This could be one of the few rare times we see or hear a zodiac member's mother be supportive of her child. Hiro sure got lucky on that front. And woeful Kureno getting isolated from the rest of the 'family' is pretty strange. I wonder what Akito is thinking, to do all this to Kureno. Then again, it could be just another ploy of hers to cause further despair to Kureno for whatever reasons she has in mind. Why does everyone think Akito is a girl. I thought Akito was introduced as a guy?

It seems like anime only fans also know or think Akito is a girl even though that's a big reveal plus spoiler. Kinda sucks because it's a big part of her character arc how her mom forced her to be a boy and shit. I remember her being a girl was a big shock when reading the manga. Maybe the voice gives it away.

Still quite a mystery what Shigure's motives are. I don't think it's anything completely evil or anything, but maybe more like a whatever-it-takes approach? Regardless of the consequences for others? Akito was really intimidating here. The music helped too. She just gives me the intimidating and creepy vibes. The Soma family is really abusive, especially the closer you get to the top i.

Lots of emotional moments this episode. Mutsuki describes Yuki and Machi as very loving parents who always laugh when they are happy. They also have a family tradition of making footprints in the snow every time the snow piles up; fulfilling their promise to make footprints in the snow. Additionally, Machi was seen comforting Yuki when told Mutsuki about the curse, which confirms that Machi was told about the curse.

Although there haven't been any on-screen interactions between the two, Yuki loves his son dearly. Yuki and Machi made sure that Mutsuki grew up in a warm and loving household unlike both of them. He is also supportive of his son, and wishes for him to pursue his own path in life. Yuki trusts his son, evident by the fact that he told him about the curse and his own history as the Rat.

When Yuki was met with acceptance, understanding, and love from him, he was very happy. Furthermore, when Mutsuki expressed how he was glad that he had Yuki and Machi as his parents, that he is happy he gets to live together with them and described their home as the place he always wants to come home to, Yuki broke down in tears of happiness.

In the beginning, Yuki did not pay much attention to Tohru and only viewed her as a strange classmate. Inviting her to live with him and Shigure was mostly because she was in need, but also because he wanted to be rebellious against the Sohma family. However, after Tohru begins reaching out to him, accept him without any hesitation, and offer him friendship, a listening ear, and unconditional support without expecting something in return, Yuki develops a very protective, kind, and considerate attitude towards her.

He also holds great trust in her, since she is able to awaken his desires to be himself and helps him admit his inner insecurities. Since Yuki never had a functioning relationship with his mother, the thing he craved most was unconditional love, support, and acceptance from someone that would never reject him.

However, Yuki is later able to come to accept his real feelings. He vows to find an equal relationship where he gets to receive as much as he can give, and wants to use the maternal love, warmth, and gentleness Tohru has given him as a base to truly find himself and a relationship that will make him feel complete.

Even though Yuki slowly starts distancing himself from Tohru due to joining the student council and finding his own friendship group, he remains just as protective of Tohru and mentions that he would never forgive someone if they hurt her.

For this reason, Yuki often scolds Kyo when he unintentionally treats Tohru coldly or hurts her. At the same time, Yuki becomes very supportive of her relationship with Kyo; he sees the sincerity in their well-balanced relationship, and even beats Kyo up for not visiting her in the hospital and for thinking that Yuki would be better off with her.

Yuki makes Kyo realize that he is the only one who can make Tohru happy and that he should not make her cry. Although he is a bit embarrassed about his true feelings, he expresses immense gratitude towards her for granting his wishes without asking for anything in return and helping him grow as a person.

In fact, Yuki states that it is thanks to her coming into his life that he was able to become the man he is. Initially, Yuki strongly disliked Kakeru since he reminded him of Ayame.

Nevertheless, during one of their first interactions where Kakeru says Yuki is an interesting person, Yuki is happy since no one had said something like that to him before. Yuki is also envious of Kakeru since he finds him similar to Kyo in the sense that he is able to socialize and make friends easily.

Kakeru manages to take his worry, relate to it, and be supportive of it. Likewise, Kakeru opens up about his family situation, and it is through Yuki that Kakeru learns about truly feeling alone. Even though Kakeru often teases Yuki, he is always looking out for him and making sure he is alright, which Yuki appreciates.

Tohru notes that it is thanks to meeting Kakeru, that Yuki has begun smiling more. Originally, Yuki did not hate Kyo and actually wanted to be friends with him. But Kyo refused, as he hated Yuki simply for being the Rat. Because of this, both of them are seen sharing a mutual hatred towards one another at the beginning of the story.

Whenever they talk or interact, they are always at odds and at each other's throats frequently. At the same time, Yuki is envious of how Kyo has the ability to easily make friends and fit into normal social settings, and is annoyed by the fact that Kyo wants to be part of the Zodiac while Yuki himself wants to escape from the Sohma family and its curse. Kyo is also envious of Yuki, as in how he is "perfect", always able to take advantage of a situation as one should, and how he is accepted into the zodiac family,.

Their relationships begin to improve slightly after they meet Tohru. Because of her kindness and both of them caring deeply for Tohru, they begin to soften their attitudes toward each other and are able to cooperate when Tohru is in trouble.

Even though they do continue to argue and fight over everything, it is never through physical violence. When it was revealed that Kyo never hated Yuki for who he was, but had been so miserable with his life that he felt he needed a scapegoat for all his misfortune, their relationship became more overly complex.

When Tohru is hospitalized and Kyo refuses to go see because he thinks that she would be better off with Yuki, Yuki is enraged. He consequently beats Kyo up and is the first one to make him realize that he isn't some kind of superhero that can save everyone as in Kyo failing to save Kyoko , and that he is the only one who can make Tohru happy and that he is more capable than anyone else.

Kyo, in return, confesses how he has always wanted to be like Yuki, which struck a chord in Yuki as he has always idolized Kyo as well.
