Can this be made in a crockpot? Put all ingredients in a crockpot, low setting, 8 hours. Could I make this in a crock pot? I need complete instructions, Im a terrible cook! Please and Thank You! I made some last night in the crockpot. It cooked for a few hours. It tasted great. I was trying to figure out how the results would be affected with a cup in the morning.
I just started this 7 day diet today. I think I need prayer to avoid major cheating on this diet. I am on a very specific calorie allowance, due to various health issues.

On my first day of the diet and just finished making the soup it smells and tastes so good! My husband and I did this diet. After 7 days with no cheats we weighed ourselves. He lost 9 lbs me nothing. This soup is sooo good! I used this tuscan garlic seasoning blend and it came out perfect. I can used this soup on any other day for dinner and just add some chicken and it would be off the chain! I did the cabbage soup diet last week and did not loose any weight. I already eat quite low calories around and have at least 1 cheat day before starting the diet. I also exercise 2 hours a day. This week I decided to continue to cabbage soup diet only to find that I gained 3 pounds!
I am not sure why? I am 5ft 2 so having even a few pounds show. My first guess would be that you are eating too little. Doing so will cause your body to be in store mode. I know it seems somewhat counter intuitive, but it is likely why you are gaining and not loosing. Some times our body is working differently because of some hormones. One of my dear friend had the same problem she used to eat good protien diet with very low carb and exercised for 2 hours a day but not loosing weight.
When after going to doctor she came to know there was some hormonal issues. I would suggest you consult a gynic and a dietitian. I had the same thing happen to me too. I did not cheat 1 time on the diet, drank all my water I was supposed to and the first time, lost weight,just a couple but a loss is a loss, tried it again a few months later, and gained 3 lbs.

I began to gain my weight back and I am trying this, starting today, should i be okay? There is not much protein in this diet. Also, this soup may be too high in fiber for you to process unless you puree it. You could probably have the soup pureed with a couple chicken breasts or canned tuna and egg every day and be ok.

Hey, what if you substitute water for green tea instead flavored with fresh lemon juice no sugar of any kind or still drink water but have a few cups of green tea a couple times a day. My daughter and I are doing this diet this week. We have one major problem — my daughter cannot stand tomatoes!!!! Is there something she can substitute on that day? Or just leave them off and have a really boring day?? I hate chunky or wedged tomatoes too.
I also hate tomatoes so I puree them and then a cut my chicken into strips like you would for a stir-fry. Cook everything together and turn onto plate — much tastier. Love it and will def try to do it once a month to jump start my weight loss or get back on track if need be. OK so I accidentally put too much red pepper in my soup and it is almost inedible. What can I put in it to reduce the spice? Try dropping a couple of whole potatoes in the pot. This may thicken the juice, so you may need to add more water as well. I am 30lbs overweight and am trying to get back to a a normal BMI.
I did this soup diet twice within 3 weeks of each other. The first time I lost 9lbs, the second time I lost about 6lbs. The recipe provided was initially a little spicy but I tried it without red peppers the second batch and it was not nearly as tasty, I learned to love the spice really quick.

I recommend looking at the FAQ of cabbage-soup-diet. I also recommend taking before after pictures and measurements. After I did this diet twice my coworkers commented on how i looked skinnier, especially in the face, and my jeans that I could fit into but still cut me in two felt comfortable.

Hey, take half a head of cauliflower break it into florets and run it through your food processor — empty out the contents into a microwave proof bowl, season with a little bit of salt and freshly ground black pepper cover bowl with cling film and blitz it for minutes depending on your microwave and presto! I regularly have it with currys etc. Thanks for sharing your experience with it!

So even if your full after esp after bi-pass your blood sugar may just be to low.
Your not getting any complex or simple or complex carbs and that can be dangerous. You have to remember a couple things: 1. You may need to modify your Day 1 and eat more soup, less fruit. Because you are only absorbing a portion of what you eat, and because of the nature of bypass and the risk of malnourishment, you still need to take your vitamin and calcium supplements AND you should add a small amount of lean protein every day.

All alcoholic beverages are high in calories from unconverted sugars and a 5 oz glass of wine has almost as many calories as a 12 oz coke! The reason why it is 7 days and not a permanent diet or way of eating is because it lacks the nutrients that your body needs. Day one was hard and I cheated with sunflower seeds but not too much. LOL but I still lost two lbs. I worked out lightly too. It looks so pretty.
