The oil I was using for my car was only rated to 5 quarts, but I have since gotten a few more and have been using them on all my engines since. I did a little research and came up with 2 different types of oil, the type I was using had higher viscosity and I would expect a higher performance from the engine, I decided to try a lower viscosity one.
