Super seal 25 where to buy

If closed and stored in a temperature controlled area, it will last 12 months, maybe longer. How long the SuperSeal25 be stored after opening or once the container is opened, it all has to be used?

Thanks, Ed. Hi, Can you tell me if superseal25 is available to be shipped to Connecticut. If not, what would you recommend? My 1 pupose of sealing my pavers is to darken them wet look. The area that will be treated is a large pool patio. Thanks, Rich. I am sorry but never heard of Sonaborn Curing seal. Do you know the chemical makeup of it and has it turned white or yellowed in discoloration? Customer has a stamped patio that was sealed with Sonaborn Curing seal.

What do I need to do to reseal with super seal? I applied a water-based acrylic stain and sealer to my concrete patio today. I would like the patio to have a wet-look appearance. Can I apply Superseal25 Semi-Gloss on the patio over the water-based stain and sealer? If so, how long should I wait to apply it? If not, what is the best water-based sealer to use to give the darkened, wet-look appearance that I desire.

It should not be slippery unless you have a buildup of old sealer on the pavers. It mat be a little slippery for the first weeks until full cure. You can also add our Super Grip for traction if you would like. Is there a better sealer that will bring out the color, and still not be slippery? Greg, If using the same sealer then just prep by cleaning with water. Let dry for 48 hours before sealing. I have a stamped patio that was sealed 2 years ago. It is time to reseal it this spring.

I wanted to know if there was any special prep that needs to be done to cover the existing sealer that still remains. Let me try to explain it better. The overall color of the patio is not uniform whether it's dry or wet. I think it's designed that way to simulate natural rocks. To answer your question about the colors when wet: when the patio gets wet, the darker areas gets darker, the faded areas also gets a little darker, but the increase of darkness is less for the faded areas than the darker areas.

I don't want to go through the trouble to add color to the sealer, and I will accept the fact that the faded areas will always be this way. It's not really too bad because stones in nature never have the same uniform color anyway. I just want to make sure I have the right kind of sealer to protect the surface and hopefully not make the fading worse. Does it look uniform though when wet with water?

When the patio is wet, the colored areas definitely gets darker than the faded areas. When wet with water does everything look evenly darker in appearance or do those areas still stand out? I live in Buffalo, NY area.

The patio was done by the previous home owner 8 years ago when the house was built. We bought the house 4 years ago and never did anything, due to ignorance and laziness. I hope it's not too late to seal. By the way, I don't know the previous owner ever sealed it or not. Even if he did, after 4 years, all traces of sealer are probably all gone now. We had lots of cardboard boxes and plastic bins yet to be unpacked from the move. Do not thin product. I want to use this for stone paver with regular sand in between.

I want a sealant that will solidify the sand to prevent weeds and to restore some color to the pavers. Will this product work or which one would you recommend? Yes, it will work. Just make sure to saturate the sand as you are applying.

I want to rejuvenate my front sidewalk. Feel stupid but I'm not sure if these are clay or concrete bricks? I think clay, but not sure. Want to select the correct sealer.

What do you think? Thank you. Those are clay pavers. Wet llok and gloss sealers will not work on vlay pavers, they will dry blotchy.

Is the product still OK to use on a stamped concrete walk and patio or should I discard the old stuff? I sealed my patio with this last year after acid staining. I have a deck above the patio and need to use oxyclean to clean the wood. Oxyclean will not damage the sealer. Had patio extended half is 10 years old half is 45 days old and used this to seal.

Applied two coats. However, part of the new half absorbed most of the sealer like on the first coat. Should I try a third???

The old part looks good. No, more it not better and you could have issues with curing correctly. Do it in the Spring. How soon can you put sealer on new stamped concrete. What should the weather conditions be to apply this product? Should this be done in shade or is full sun ok?

Sun or shade is okay for applying to pavers. Avoid hot sun if stamped concrete. Does this have a non-slip surface when wet? If not, which product can be added to it to make it non-slip? Can the tinting product you carry be added?

If I use this product on my travertine pool deck, should I add a non slip grip additive? It is not needed but you can add if you like. Can it handle heat? No, it is not designed for a fireplace or interior application. We have an entry walkway of stamped concrete, as well as a patio. We have them professionally sealed every few years but would like to seal the walkway ourselves as it was damaged by salt products duh, I say to my dopey self.

I don't know what type of sealer was used before, different people have done it each time. There are spots on the walk where the coating and color are chipped or worn away. Could I use a small amount of your sealer, mixed with a touch of acrylic craft paint, to touch up the bare spots, then follow with a light coating of clear on the entire walk? Or is that another dumb idea? This left a semi-gloss shine to our driveway. The sealer dried in a few hours and we were able to drive on the surface the next day.

Joint Sand Hardening: 8. This allowed the sealer to penetrate into the joint sand better but still not as well as a water-based paver sealer. A light cleaning to remove the dirt and grime spruced up the appearance. No peeling was evident. It enhances well, leaves a nice shine, and does not discolor when applied properly. We noticed the sealer did not leave any hot tire marks on the driveway after 2 years. Test Stats:. Surface Type: Brick Paver Driveway 2 years old, sealed previously.

We offer no guarantee of similar results. Take into consideration that results may differ due to different surface types, exposure to UV radiation, and traffic. Best Sealer Travertine or other Natural Stone Two and a half years ago we applied the SuperSeal25 and it lasted 2 years when we wanted it freshened up and applied a lower cost seal from Lowes sold as one of the best.

We are now removing that seal and applied SuperSeal25 once again and it is beautiful. I have natural large gray stone backsplash in the kitchen behind the stove and I applied it with a brush and it looks amazing. It brought out the natural hues of … Read more ».

I have a 25 year old indoor pool with maroonish brick pavers for the coing. If I use Superseal25 to reseal, do I need to remove the old sealer that has turned whiteish? If so what can I use to remove the old sealer? Wanted to follow up on your recommendation for super seal 25 posted last week. Used poly metric sand to fill any loose sand that was removed in the process. I purchased 2- 5 gallons drums of Super seal Product went on nice and thick sealing sanded grout also could see the color change as it … Read more ».

Sounds like you applied so it may require a refresh application in a year. It will still be good then. Hi, our stained, stamped concrete was poured and sealed 2 years ago and it has faded and needs to be resealed.

I prefer a wet look that is not slippery. Is the or 25 better to reseal? Thank you. This page has been of great help. The guy we paid to do the job has taken the money and never seen of again. They used Dulux Avista concrete sealer and the pictures show the end result white discolouration. Which seal would you recommend for Melbourne climate or do they all so the same job. Would love some guidance on this. You will have to strip it first and not sure what strippers and sealers will work in your country.

The products we review are USA and Canada only. My stamped concrete patio is 5 years old. Are you familiar with this ChemMasters product? Which is better?

Why would this do this and how can I fix it? The SS25 is not designed for natural stone and should not have been used there. It is for concrete decorative surfaces such as brick pavers, stamped concrete, etc. You will need to strip it off to fix it. FYI, gloss and wet look sealers never really work well on natural stone like bluestone and should be avoided. The issue is with the porosity of the stain creating uneven application and what happened in your scenario with chalky substances releasing internally from your stone.

Hello, I sent a msg early June regarding the best type of sealer. I was advised to get superseal Yesterday, I completed power washing and have a couple of questions.

I bought the superseal tint terracotta — is this the right color? Should I mix the tint in the whole 5 gallon jar even though maybe using 2 gallons max? While power washing some of the stamped concrete lost the black prints or got really faded….
